Taj Mahal

On Wednesday Nov 27. terrorist attacks in Mumbai, India killed more than 100 people including at least one Parsi.

According to IReport and IBNLive news agencies from India, various spots including Taj Mahal hotel, city’s train station, a Jewish center, a movie theater, a cafe,  and a hospital were attacked by militants wielding machine guns. Some of those who escaped from the Taj Mahal reported that some of the Taj Mahal employees were huddled in a corner and shot by the terrorists. Kaizad Kamdin, A 27 year old Zoroastrian employee who was a chef at Taj Mahal, died on the spot, while Farokh Dinshaw was shot at close range.

Cafe Leopold, a favorite tourist spot behind the Taj Mahal hotel which is owned by a Zoroastrian, Farhang  Jehani, was also hit on Wednesday night. Two gunmen pull out machine guns and opened fire on the restaurant full of evening dinners.
